"A CF Patient's Life"
Sculpture (15"x18")

This piece was created using cardboard to create the structure, and fake flowers and medical supplies for the decoration. I wanted to show the life of a Cystic Fibrosis patient; how on the surface we might look like the CF is the only aspect of our life, but if you look on the inside there is much more; there is beauty and growth blooming.
"Shooting for the Stars"
Wood, Acrylic Paint (27” x 16.5” x 11.5”)

The goal of this piece was to create a shape repeatedly and then create a sculpture from those pieces. I chose a four-pointed star as my shape, and glued them together to create a winding sculpture reaching upwards. The overall shape of the entire sculpture is supposed to be a star reaching up towards the sky, rather than a star falling.
