I was commissioned to design a logo for a local lawncare company. Their mascot is a beaver and is paired with the catchphrase "Dam Good Lawncare". The client requested a whimsical, animated look with a bold color palette and distinctive typeface.
To capture this vision, I created a front-facing beaver character with simple, playful shading and complementary colors for a vibrant, approachable feel. To highlight the company's services and identity I incorporated accessories such as a lawnmower and hat.
The final design combines both personality, identity, and character, making it both memorable and functional for branding.
To promote their business, I designed business cards for the employees. I created this wavy design element to connect the back of the card with the logo on the front, while keeping a clean, crisp look to the overall card. Each card showcases the name of the worker and their position, along with the company website, email address, and phone number.
To expand on their advertising, I designed this billboard ad. I reused the wavy design element to connect the ad with the company, as well as showcased the logo and catchphrase. To keep the billboard simple and easy to read as someone drives by, I simply put the phone number of the company. The goal of the overall look was to keep it simple and clean while still adhering to brand design and identity.
To finish the ad campaign for this business, I designed a brochure that can be put into mailboxes or doors. I included the wavy design element, logo, color palette, and typography to create a unified look with the other brand mediums. On the inside I included information that can also be found on the company website. I decided to further incorporate the logo by making the hat as a sort of bullet point for the list in the 5-Step Lawncare program part of the brochure.
